I am having a problem with creating a form for a downloadable product in so far that when uploading a file and submitting the page then hangs. I have tried the option to upload direct and by uploading to media folder. Uploading to the media folder option allows for the file to be uploaded to the media folder but is not added to the product. Please can you advise.

I have found the solution. The answer was here: https://woocommerce.com/document/approved-download-directories/. By disabling the approved directories, I was able to upload, and subsequently download the files.
